About the event
In this workshop, Particle perfumers, London & Alicia, will guide you through the foundational concepts of modern perfumery. Together, you'll explore how perfumes are structured and formulated, the difference between natural and synthetic materials, essential lab tools, safety practices, and blending techniques used by professional working perfumers.
For this module, you will focus on green and herbaceous fragrance profiles inspired by forests, gardens, and wild landscapes. Expect to encounter materials that evoke pine needles, green stems, leaves, damp earth, fresh herbs, grasses, and vegetal notes like basil and tomato leaf. While materials from other scent families will be available to support your blend, the focus will remain on the vibrant and verdant materials that make up this fragrance profile.
You'll begin by smelling and discussing several popular fragrances that fall within these scent profiles, breaking down what makes them work and how they’re constructed. Then you’ll move into the creative…
