In this workshop, Particle perfumers, London & Alicia, will guide you through the foundational concepts of modern perfumery. Together, you'll explore how perfumes are structured and formulated, the difference between natural and synthetic materials, essential lab tools, safety practices, and blending techniques used by professional working perfumers.

For this module, you will explore dark and atmospheric scent profiles. Expect to encounter dark ink, dripping candle wax, musky and animalic notes, altar smoke, burnt matches, shadowy figures, and spectral atmospheres. Explore our mad science lab of the most intriguing and mysterious materials. While materials from other scent families will be available to support your blend, the focus will remain on the depth, intrigue, and mood of dark atmospheric accords.
